SMB Summer Babad To Remember Kicks Off

There's really nothing like San Miguel Beer to break the ice as the annual Summer Babad affixed its ownership of summer anew with a nighttime bash filled to the brim with bands, babes and mini-pools filled with ice-cold beer recently at the San Miguel by the Bay.

The event hosted by VJ Drei and Sanya of Myx Music Channel drew thousands of admirers to the golden brew, uniquely served in a fashion perfect and timely for summer, with bottles upon bottles of ice-cold, free-flowing and refreshing beer retrieved from pools so enticing that one might not mind diving into it just for the heck of it.

"San Miguel Beer and summer go together. Whether you are in the city or in any of the country's fine beaches during summer, San Miguel Beer ups the ante for fun and sets the mood to groove," says Group Brand Manager Charmaine Bautista.

No less than San Miguel Beer Inc. president Ramon S. Ang made the opening toast of the event right beside the pool as on cue, a 10-minute fireworks display lighted up the bay. The kick-off party, made more significant since it coincided with the inauguration of San Miguel by the Bay, signals the beginning of a more exciting Summer Babad beach parties across the country.

"The ice-cold beer experience is the name of the game in summer and the pool that we're bringing to several Babad destinations brings the enjoyment of ice-cold San Miguel Pale Pilsen to a higher level," she adds on the event that also had simultaneous openers that same night at the SSS grounds in Cebu, Matina Town Square in Davao and Smallville in Iloilo.

And the fun has just started with succeeding beach parties at Puerto Galera in Mindoro, Iba, Zambales, Bantayan Island, Cebu, San Juan, La Union, San Fabian, Pangasinan and Bacon, Sorsogon .
